Today in History and perhaps a Book of the Day

This page will be dedicated to a book, books, movies or other items that are related to do with events of the actual date. Sometimes important birthdays, anniversaries, or other events inspire me to add links, videos, or suggest places to travel. I'll be using the almanac and research from the internet to find interesting events that lead to the post. Commenting and discussions are always welcomed.
